Witness Service on the Sunshine Coast
Australian marriage law requires two witnesses who are both 18 or older.
If you do not have your own witnesses, ask us about our witness service.
When witness help is useful
- you are travelling from interstate or overseas
- you want to keep the marriage private
- you are having a very small legal service
- you do not have two adults available
What the witnesses do
The witnesses are there to watch the marriage take place and sign the paperwork.
They do not need to be family members or close friends.

The easiest way is to mention it in your booking or contact us before the date is confirmed.
